Description
Mill Creek trail will lead you to a beautiful desert oasis. Though this waterfall is not as huge or impressive as others, finding a water feature in the red rock world is always a treat.
Initially, you will walk along Mill Creek. We were able to avoid getting our feet wet when we went, it was winter and water levels were low. There was some well placed rip rap as well. However, recent reviews have a common thread among them that walking across the creek was necessary and unavoidable.
Once you get into the canyon, you will reach a large pool with the waterfall pouring down into it. Continue upward to another section and enjoy the sound of the water cascading down the canyon, leading to the water below. It was glorious to soak up the March sun when we were there, perched on the rocks and watching the water rush by.
