Lakeside Loop
Description
May we present the Great Salt Lake via the Lakeside Loop!
The Great Salt Lake is beautiful to behold. I love seeing the mountains in contrast to the water. You will get your fill of nature here as well since the lake is an important migratory area for many species of birds and also home to a very large bison herd.
The trail winds along the a lake and through rocks and meadow land, all the while giving you fantastic overlooks of the water. Keep your eyes peeled for the huge bison! Not only so you can enjoy seeing them, but you may come right upon them unexpectedly. Please respect their space and don’t attempt to get close.
