Chuckwalla
Description
Nestled in the City of St. George, Chuckwalla trail offers a great feeling of a getaway without going far.
Your initial descent offers a brief overlook of St. George. You will wind around red rock formations and may be able to watch people climbing or practicing canyoneering, and will enjoy seeing and hearing local birds. While this is not the most exciting trail for views or adventure, it is a nice one if you are looking for lower mileage and a laid back feel.
We saw some very active hummingbirds and some quail running around. The desert blooms on the yuccas varieties were in great abundance as well.
