Description
Chimney Rock is an iconic rock formation in Capital Reef National Park. The trailhead is located right off the main highway passing through this area.
Once at the trailhead, you will pretty immediately start to gain elevation and end up on the butte above Chimney Rock. You won’t get a much better view of Chimney Rock, with Capital Reef sprawling behind it in the distance.
On the way down, your view continues on as you wind along the base on the butte that you were just on top of.
Enjoy the workout and enjoy this new vantage point of Chimney Rock!
