Bright Angel Point
Description
Laying eyes on the Grand Canyon for the first time was a special moment. We went to the North Rim and took the trail to Bright Angel Point.
The trail is paved and hard rock, it was not difficult. What was in fact difficult though, was the layer of ice on part of the incline trail. It was a short section and it added a touch of adventure trying to slide up and down it.
The trail leads out the point with jaw dropping views all around. It is impossible to fathom the true width and depth of this majestic canyon, even when you are right at its edge.
