Gordon Creek Falls

If you’d like a path to take that is ‘off the beaten path’, Gordon Creek Falls near Helper, Utah is the hike for you. 

The hike is more of a walk that will bring you to Gordon Creek Falls. The falls cascade over some stepped rocks. If you can carefully walk out into the water and around the falls, which is a refreshing and unique experience.

Bring water and snacks and spend some time with your feet in the water as a reward for your physical work. 

Difficulty: Easy.

Trail Stats: 2.2 miles, out and back, 232 feet elevation gain.

Trail Finding: Relatively straightforward, the trail is more of an OHV trail than a hiking trail.

Conditions: Packed dirt, some gravel and rocks. 

Would I Repeat This: Yes, it was neat to be right amidst the falls.

Parking: Parking present.

Timing: Limited to no shade, keep in mind for the time of the day.

Downloaded Map: Nice for determining the start of the trail.

Trails: Nine Mile Canyon – this is a 50-mile drive to do for the opportunity to “stop and look” at many, many petroglyphs and pictographs.
